Grand Prix Karting in association with the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity (Registered Charity No. 1143118) are proud to announce Kart4Life!
Kart4Life is a 4 hour Charity Challenge on Sunday 30th June 2019 where teams are invited to compete in order to be crowned karting heroes whilst earning money for an excellent cause at the same time.
Bravely battle as a team of two or spread the huge 5 hours of track time amongst a larger team of up to eight drivers.
Midlands Air Ambulance is the charity responsible for funding and operating three air ambulances serving the communities of six Midlands counties: Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire and the West Midlands. This consitutes the largest air ambulance operating region in the UK.
Since 1991, the charity has responded to more than 47,000 missions averaging 2,000 per year, making it one of the longest established and busiest air ambulance organisations in the UK.
This special event will start at midday at an unbelievable price of just £320 per team (2 - 8 drivers), this works out at just £40 each if you're in a team of 8 drivers! A whopping 25% of all race fees will go straight to charity.
The event will be held on the massive "International" circuit, which measures in at a distance of just under 1km, and will comprise of a full one hour practice / qualifying session followed by a staggering four hour non-stop endurance race to the chequered flag. A good strategy will be the key to success. Medals and bubbly spraying on the podium for the top 3 teams.
2017 was a big success and 14 teams helped us raise £1500 for the Air Ambulance and we want to raise even more in 2019! Limited Teams available so book early to save disappointment. Just £100 deposit holds the place for your team, we also want your Team Name so make it original.
